The La Pampa’s Ministry of Production invited rural sector workers, producers and entrepreneurs, as well as anyone interested in the trade, with or without prior knowledge, to participate in the “Fencing Workshop 2026”, which will be held in the town of Eduardo Castex next July 31 and August 1.
The activity is jointly organized by the Ministry of Production and the Vocational Training Center No. 1, with the support of the Municipality of Eduardo Castex and the local Producers Association.
The training will be led by Daniel Gilardi, a professional from the Acindar Network’s School of Fencing, and will be supported by Agromaderas Norte, owned by Luis Reta, which will provide the necessary materials. The workshop will focus on fencing assembly techniques, tool use, tensioning and repair techniques, and the installation of posts and rods. It will take place on July 31 and August 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Vocational Training Center No. 1, located on Route 35, Km. 405, Eduardo Castex.
As this is a hands-on activity, space is limited. For this reason, a pre-registration period was established: applicants will be evaluated and selected by the organization, and those chosen will be notified in due course.
This training program stems from a survey of the trades currently needed in the Eduardo Castex area and seeks to meet this specific demand with high-quality training. According to Marcelo Lluch, Director of Livestock, the initiative aims to equip rural workers with specific skills to perform more efficiently in the field, while also fostering a sense of belonging and creating new job opportunities within the province.
