Next Saturday, June 13th at 5:00 PM, in the La Fantasma Room of the Olga Orozco House Museum (Toay), the book “Las violetas sonríen en la escarcha” (Violets Smile in the Frost), the most recent work by the writer María Costilla, will be presented.
The event will celebrate not only the written word, but also the intersection of artistic languages. The author will be joined by a panel of guests including Lisa Segovia, Analía Chamorro, Adriana Roldán, and Francisco Hernández Malán, who will share their readings and reflections on the poetry collection.
An expanded reading proposal #
Simultaneously with the book launch, an exhibition of the work of the book’s illustrator, Lorena Espíndola, will open. The exhibition consists of a series of printed digital collages created from Costilla’s texts.
Lorena Espíndola’s collages can be viewed until Sunday, June 21, with free admission.
