The director of the Museum, Dante Bagatto, thanked the attendees for their presence and especially highlighted the commitment and daily work of the institution’s team. He also announced a project to review and build the institutional vision and mission of the Museum. In this sense, he expressed that “this instance will have as its starting point the exhibition and the figure of Estela Jorge, considering her career and her link with the institution, where she also served as director”.
Bagatto pointed out that in a first stage, this work will be developed together with the Museum team and based on the institutional heritage. Subsequently, the project will be expanded by calling on artists from the Province, art students and different audiences, promoting a participatory and collective construction.

The artist shared a few words with those present, with which she reviewed part of her journey and highlighted the continuity of her artistic practice after more than 45 years of work. Jorge emphasized how he has maintained the principles that guided his beginnings, maintaining a permanent search through different formats, objects and languages, in a constant process of creation and reinvention.
Finally, she especially appreciated the support received to carry out this exhibition, highlighting the management of the director of the Museum and the support of Ricardo Arcuri, whom he recognized as a reference figure within the provincial artistic field and a fundamental part of the exhibition proposal presented. Finally, he extended his gratitude to his family and to all those who collaborated in the making of the exhibition, which will remain open to the public until June 28.
