Technical Talk on Cost-Effective Livestock Feed Alternatives in Embajador Martini

The conference will take place on May 28 at Embajador Martini and will address nutritional tools applicable to current production systems.

The Ministry of Production, through the Directorate of Livestock, invites producers, professionals and technicians from the agricultural sector to participate in the technical talk called ‘Profitable feed alternatives applicable to current livestock systems’.

The training day, organized in conjunction with the municipality of Embajador Martini and the local Agricultural Cooperative, is part of the permanent agenda carried out by the organization in order to bring technical and updating tools that enhance the development of local production chains and strengthen regional roots.

“The objective is to provide concrete responses to the demands of producers in the region in the face of the current economic and climate scenario. The optimization of feed resources and the efficiency in the costs of the herds become critical variables to sustain and increase the profitability of Pampas cattle farms,” explained Marcelo Lluch, director of Livestock, to the Provincial News Agency.

Then Pablo Baliño will address the following topics: alternatives for fattening and rearing in confinement, presentation of a habituation essay, Self-consumption vs. Traditional supplementation in breeding and breeding, bases for decision-making and economic analysis of practices. The activity will take place on Thursday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m., in the facilities of the multipurpose room of the Agricultural Cooperative of the town, located in Hipólito Yrigoyen and Provincial Route No. 2.
