This Wednesday, in Toay, a festival of storytelling begins that will pass through primary and secondary schools, neighborhood commissions and trails. An activity designed to position tourism and spread culture.
This Wednesday 22, the first edition of the ‘La Pampa Tells’ Festival will arrive to Toay, a national and international meeting that will bring together storytellers from South America and Argentina, which will take place until next Saturday.
In the presentation of the activity the Secretary of Tourism, Saúl Echeveste, stressed that it is an opportunity to continue positioning La Pampa as an attractive destination. “This are events that break with seasonality and show that it is not only possible to make proposals for tourism on vacations or on long holidays,” explained Echeveste.
“This Festival is going to boost the economy of the region, because participants from all over the country and South America will arrive. La Pampa has much more to show than its landscapes, and in this case it will offer its literature,”Echeveste added.
Meanwhile, Marisel Seltzer, member of the group ‘Sowers of Stories’, stressed that storytelling will be made in primary and secondary schools, in the neighborhood commissions‘and in the beautiful trails of Toay’.
