The opening was led by the director of the Casa de La Pampa, Pablo Rubio, accompanied by the head of the Culture Area, Agustín Guaycochea, the Institutional Relationships, Fiorella Biondi. “We are very happy to be able to inaugurate the 2026 Cultural Agenda within the Visual Arts cycle with the work of Gregorio Zanardi. It is essential for us to continue generating spaces for the dissemination of Pampas culture in Buenos Aires,” Rubio said.
The artist’s visual universe proposes scenes that refer to cinematographic language, with displaced faces, bodies in transformation and identities in process. “A lot of the works are inspired by movies and music, which is something I hear constantly,” he said. About his participation in the space, he stated that “for me it is very important to be at Casa de La Pampa. It is a place that I feel close, where my family, my friends and other artists from La Pampa are.”** The concept of the exhibition reinforces the idea of openness: “Overtures is a door. Each piece functions as an incomplete access that does not reveal, but insinuates. There is no closed narrative, but an invitation for each person to build their own interpretation.” the artist explained.
Music on vinyl #
The opening of the exhibition was accompanied by a vinyl DJ set by the La Pampa’s artists Pam! Pam! (Pamilo Ceirone) and Juanitos (Juan Mazzucchi), who proposed a musicalization specially designed to dialogue with the works.
