Quemú Quemú is preparing to receive nature lovers and curious people in general with the arrival of a bird observatory that will be installed tomorrow, starting at 7:00 p.m. During the day, neighbors and visitors will have the opportunity to travel thematic routes, learn to identify native and migratory birds, and participate in short talks by specialists in local ornithology. The event seeks to promote responsible observation in a natural environment that is revealed at its best at sunset.
The activity will begin on Friday at the Office Complex (French 238) with a mandatory and explanatory talk about the activity, by the guide Marcelo Dolsan, where reference will also be made to the use of binoculars and bird guides. People will also enjoy a projection of photographs.
On Saturday, from 9:00 a.m., the sighting activity will begin at the ‘Kem Kem Lauquen’ Fishing Club. The Bird Observatory on the property and the lagoon will be in charge of the guide Marcelo Dolsan; and the hiking activity, by Susana Sánchez.
The activity was presented at the Secretariat of Tourism of the Province, with the presence of the head of the area Saúl Echeveste, the Director of Development of the Tourism Offer, Florencia Stefanazzi, and Quemú-Quemú tourism references.

Echeveste remarked that the experience “it’s a sustainable activity, it is environmental education and each person who arrives with the binoculars or with their camera, not only arrives at the town or the event to record a photo, but really to live an experience and to learn about our biodiversity.”
“With this activity we see the result of a joint and articulated work between this Tourism Secretariat, the Ministry of Culture, the municipality and the tourism providers, to be able to carry out activities that allow us to know a little more about the town and the region,” Echeveste added.

While Stefanazzi also stated that “this birdwatching activity is not only an activity, but it is a tourist experience. We invite the entire community and the surrounding towns to join this experience, since we are going to have on this occasion the guide Marcelo Dolsan, a specialist in birds and nature guide.”
“We are waiting for you all, La Pampa is conducive to doing this type of activities, we have the resources to do nature tourism, so all these types of activities are welcome,” she concluded.
