According to the first report, most of the buildings have fallen trees and branches and minor damage to their infrastructure. However, five establishments were detected that suffered major damage and will require specific interventions.
The planning contemplates arriving with all the work completed by next March 2, the date scheduled for the start of the school year. In those cases where the damage requires more time for intervention, alternatives will be evaluated that guarantee that students, teachers and technical teams can begin classes in adequate safety and hygiene conditions.
La Pampa’s Government stressed that the operation will continue during the next few hours until the survey of all the educational establishments in the city is completed, prioritizing the rapid normalization of the educational service and the protection of the scholar community.
