The activity is organized by the Ministry of Production through the Directorate of Agriculture, in coordination with the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA), the UNLPAm’s Faculty of Agronomy and the College of Agricultural Engineers of La Pampa, and is part of the Provincial Law No. 3288 on Integrated Management of Pesticides.
During the Conference, the main characteristics of drone spraying systems (DSS) will be addressed, along with the necessary considerations for their correct calibration. Likewise, work will be done on the calibration of the equipment, the parameters that influence the quality of application and the design of the spray broth for low rates, emphasizing the specific conditions required for its use in multirotor drones.
“The training is aimed at agronomists and other professionals with competence, in their role as technical advisors, key actors in the planning, supervision and control of phytosanitary applications, in accordance with the provisions of current provincial regulations,” explained Ovando.
