The Provincial Museum of Natural History of the Culture Secretariat invited to visit its Paleontological Collection, as part of the celebration of its 90th anniversary. On this occasion, it brings the community a special activity focused on its valuable paleontological collection. The presentation, open to the public, will take place today Wednesday 19 at 7:00 p.m., at the Museum’s headquarters, located at Quintana 116, Santa Rosa.
During the meeting, the historical origin of the collection, its current development and future projections of work with the fossil materials that the institution safeguards will be addressed.
The activity seeks to highlight the scientific, educational and heritage importance of the specimens, as well as to share the challenges and lines of action planned for the coming years in terms of research and conservation.
The proposal is part of the Museum’s actions to strengthen the link with the community and disseminate the natural heritage of La Pampa, reaffirming its commitment to research and conservation.
