The third edition of ComUna Trova will take place next Saturday, November 22 and will be attended by two outstanding troubadours of the provincial scene: Laura Quintero and Javier Avalis.

The appointment will be at 7:30 p.m. in the “La Fantasma” Room of the Olga Orozco House Museum, (Av. Regimiento 13 de Caballería 1102 – Toay), with entrance to collaboration. In response to the need to revitalize listening spaces for trova and songwriters, the third edition of the ‘ComUna Trova’ Cycle was announced. This project, was consolidated as a scenario of cooperativism and creation, dedicated to promoting the wide and diverse local, provincial and Latin American authorial repertoire. The initiative was born from a group of singer-songwriters who seek to generate an open space for the exchange and listening to new works, proposing themselves as ‘a bastion for the new discourse, a possible route for the trova’.

A musician and composer from Santa Rosa, she has an indisputable identity in her songs, where the word is enriched with various sonorities and forms. With a solid career that includes projects such as “Las Musas” and “Las Dogas” she strengthened his path as a soloist, giving in each work the deep perception of a moment.

Javier Avalis

Poet and singer-songwriter from La Pampa, Javier Avalis is a minstrel of memory and popular struggles. His work is a reflection of the feeling of the plain and the ’necessary sayings’, making her militancy an art and art a militancy, in a constant search for the voices that inhabit the region.

ComUna Trova: The collective host
#

The ComUna Trova project was consolidated in July 2022 with the central idea of being a cyclical formation open to all voices. Given to its name, it seeks to reaffirm the sense of community in the song, creating ties with colleagues and generating new spaces for listening.

The ensemble hosts the Cycle and accompanies the guest artists in their repertoires, giving new nuances to projects, mostly soloists. Its repertoire includes both works composed specifically for the project and compositions that trace the individual trajectory of its members, giving meaning to its rich collective framework, the APN said.
