Officials from the La Pampa Culture Secretariat actively participated and obtained recognition for a project presented at the Second Federal Integration Conference, organized by the Federal Investment Council (CFI) in the city of Buenos Aires, from October 28 to 30.

This meeting marked the closing of the fourth edition of the Training Program in Cultural Industries and Innovation, developed from April to October 2025 by the CFI Federal Development School, aimed at provincial managers in areas of Culture and related sectors. La Pampa was selected for its project among four that were accepted (out of a total of 23 prepared by the provinces), all presented to the CFI authorities.

The Pampean project focuses on the development of instruments that allow strengthening provincial festivals from territorial identity, a key axis for cultural and tourism promotion.

The Secretariat of Culture of La Pampa was represented by Jesús Gallego -provincial director of Artistics-, Dante Bagatto -director of the Provincial Museum of Arts- and Claudia Salomón Tarquini -provincial director of Cultural Heritage.

About the Program

The CFI Training Program in Cultural Industries and Innovation trained provincial officials to design public policies in strategic areas such as cultural industries, creative industries and the knowledge economy.

During its seven months of duration in virtual and in-person mode, thematic modules that are decisive for the development of the sector were addressed, including introduction to creative industries and cultural management; data and indicators for policy generation; the video game, audiovisual and music industry; crafts and popular expressions; design, gastronomy and wine tourism and public policy formulation workshops. Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) are an engine of development. In Argentina, CCIs represent more than 2% of economic participation and generate more than 300 thousand jobs (according to SINCA), projecting the country’s creative talent to the world.

“We shared the closing days exchanging projects and tools to generate public policies capable of adapting and cooperating in an environment in constant transformation,” the La Pampa’s representatives told the Provincial News Agency, highlighting the value of networking.

From the CFI pointed out: “We have the challenge of continuing to innovate in processes; in the way of producing, distributing, collaborating and connecting with audiences. Argentine creativity is internationally recognized and represents great capital to promote the development of our provinces.”
