After an intersectional work developed in recent months, today new documents based on the handling of conflictive episodes occurring in the school environment were officially presented in the Agreement Hall of the La Pampa’s Government House.

The new ‘Guidance Guide for intervention in Educational Institutions attended by young people, adults, and older adults over 18 years old’ was presented. On the other hand, chapter 4 ‘Responsible communication in complex situations’ was added to the Guide launched in 2022.

During the launch, the Minister of Education, Marcela Feuerschvenger, the Minister of Social Development and Human Rights, Diego Álvarez, the Minister of Health, Rubén Kohan, the Minister of Security and Justice, Horacio di Nápoli, the Minister of Government and Municipal Affairs, Pascual Fernández, the Secretary of Women, Genders, and Diversity, Gabriela Labourie, among other provincial authorities, members of the Judiciary, representatives of teachers’ unions, other institutional actors, were present.

Feuerschvenger highlighted to the Provincial News Agency the intersectoral nature of the work carried out, framed within a public policy sustained over time that seeks to strengthen care and prevention within the Pampean educational system. “This framework reflects the work of shared responsibility and collaboration that we have been building for years. Today we take a new qualitative leap, extending care policies to all educational levels, because prevention and care have no age,” expressed the minister.

Feuerschvenger also highlighted the inclusion of Chapter 4, which addresses responsible communication in complex situations within educational institutions. “It is not about limiting the right to information, but about informing and protecting the rights of those who inhabit educational institutions. This chapter provides tools to act responsibly and care for both students and teachers,” explained Feuerschvenger.

Finally, she stated that “these actions are not exhausted in a document or a resolution: they require involvement in the territory, joint work, and permanent presence. Public care policies are sustained by commitment and action.”, concluded.

The documents are available on the website of the Ministry of Education of La Pampa
