The Federal Council of Investments (CFI) of Argentina launched a strategic planning tool for the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) with participation of all provinces. The La Pampa’s Secretary of Culture, Pablo Lucero Álvarez, highlighted to the Provincial News Agency the importance of the meeting to consolidate a true cultural federalism and enhance the sector.

The Federal Council of Investments (CFI) held the Federal Day of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI), a key meeting that initiated the construction of a Federal Roadmap. This strategic tool aims to organize, prioritize, and project the country’s development from a territorial perspective, articulating the national vision with provincial realities.

Ignacio Lamothe, CFI’s General Secretary, emphasized that the Roadmap is not a static plan, but a living and dynamic process of long-term planning. The initiative emphasizes that those who build the tool are also responsible for implementing the policies, ensuring a sustained commitment.

The day included the presentation of results from provincial surveys, a exchange of brief presentations, and group working tables, which allowed for the consensus on diagnoses and priorities for the sector. Additionally, the signing of the renewal of the agreement with UNESCO was highlighted, a commitment that will strengthen cooperation in the cultural field.

The debate concluded with the definition of the next steps, laying the groundwork to advance a common agenda of cultural policies that integrates local capacities, political dialogue, and technical production throughout the national territory.

The activities of the day were complemented by the opening gala of MUTEK.AR at the San Martín Theater, featuring the large-format audiovisual segment A/Visions, the large-format audiovisual segment with the performance Replikas by Canadian artist Alexis Langevin-Tétrault, and a commissioned work by Claustro (Argentina).
