Who are you behind the screen?

New streaming episode: “Broken Filter: Who are you behind the screen?”. The discussion will address how networks and advertisements impose ideals of perfection and what effects they generate on the health, self-esteem and bonds of teenagers and young people.

La Pampa’s Ministry of Education continues with live broadcasts through the [YouTube channel] (https://www.youtube.com/@educa-me). Today, at 7 p.m., within the framework of the “enREDados” cycle, the discussion “Broken filter: Who are you behind the screen?” will be shared.

Athina Nieto (Nutrition Bachelor) and Carolina Vergara (Actress, Teacher and Theater Director) will visit the “educa-me” studio to discuss how social networks and advertisements install models of hegemonic bodies and an idea of constant perfection, and how this affects daily life: food, mental health, self-esteem and bonds, especially during adolescence.

During the live broadcast, families and the community in general will be able to make any queries they deem necessary through live chat.

The central objective of “enREDados: Educating to reconnect” is to promote the responsible use of screens by children and adolescents, and to encourage the place of dialogue, looking, listening and face-to-face communication.
