The presentation was lead by Secretary of Culture, Pablo Lucero, accompanied by various directors of the department, who will participate in the development of the 2025 Provincial Book Fair.
The secretary highlighted the joy and pride “of being able to achieve another edition of the Book Fair; we have a very important history regarding this initiative to support literature as well as writers, publishers, and all the institutions dedicated to literary production, as well as all the programs surrounding this, such as the Pampeano Editorial Fund.”
“Furthermore, the Patagonian region as a cultural reference with everything related to the production of literature in which we are working together, and there are always initiatives to promote the corridor with exchanges of references and people involved in cultural management,” he added.
“We are also gathered here because this will be a Fair where the activities of the museums and the different Directorates and spaces of our Secretariat will have very important relevance.”
“There will be days of much activity with children, adolescents, and families. In this case, there where will be four intensive days where we will also share one of the days with a festival that we will hold in the interior; we will showcase a lot of cultural activity that weekend in our Province.”
“Part of the call -stated- is to mention that we have a lot of participation from publishers, where there will be a very clear intention to promote sales, which is one of the main objectives of this Fair with independent publishers and all the guests we will have.”
La Pampa’s Bank support #
About the sales of literary material, Lucero announced an agreement with Banco de La Pampa. “As always, we have a partnership with Banco de La Pampa to take advantage of all the benefit packages that consumers have with the Pampa Packages and Pampa Club points, which is a source of pride with a registered trademark. Last year we had record sales and record point redemption with the Arte Propio voucher, which is also our flagship to continue promoting the sales of the titles we have,” Lucero concluded.
