The 2025 PSG, which, as happens every year, goes beyond the merely competitive, is organized by the Undersecretariat of Sports of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Rights of the Government of La Pampa.
Activities began in different venues in the morning and after a midday break, the continued in the afternoon, in another day plenty of emotions.
Men volleyball #
On the Plan 5000 court, the men’s volleyball matches continued from the morning, Chacharramendi (Zone X) lost to Bernasconi (Zone VIII) 2 to 1; General Pico (Zone V) defeated Quemú Quemú (Zone IV); Doblas (Zone IX) defeated Intendente Alvear (Zone II) 2 to 1; and Santa Rosa (Zone VII) to Victorica (Zone VI) 2 to 0.
In the afternoon, Victorica (Zone VI) beat Intendente Alvear (Zone II) 2 to 0; Ingeniero Luiggi (Zone I) to Doblas (Zone IX) 2 to 0; Trenel (Zone I) lost to Bernasconi (Zone VIII) 2 to 0; and Chacharramendi (Zone X) fell to Quemú Quemú (Zone IV) 2 to 0.
Women volleyball #
On the courts of the Butaló Sports Center, in the morning, in women’s volleyball General Pico (Zone V) beat 25 de Mayo (Zone X) 2 to 0; Uriburu (Zone IV) to Trenel (Zone III) 2 to 0; 25 de Mayo (Zone X) lost to Jacinto Arauz (Zone VIII) 2 to 0; General Pico (Zone V) fell to Uriburu (Zone IV) 2 to 0.
General Acha (Zone IX) lost to General Pico (Zone VII) 2 to 0; Alta Italia (Zone II) defeated Embajador Martini (Zone I) 2 to 1; Alta Italia (Zone II) defeated General Acha (Zone IX) 2 to 1 and General Pico (Zone VII) defeated Telén (Zone VI) 2 to 0.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, Trenel (Zone III) lost to Jacinto Arauz (Zone VIII) 2 to 0; 25 de Mayo (Zone X) defeated (Zone IV) Uriburu 2 to 0; and General Acha (Zone IX) to Embajador Martini (Zone I) 2 to 1.
Men soccer #
In men’s soccer, whose matches were played at Mac Allister field, Realicó (Zone I) defeated General Acha (Zone IX) 2 to 1; General Pico (Zone V) and Anguil (Zone IV) tied 1 to 1; General Pico (Zone V) defeated General Acha 2 to 0; and Anguil (Zone IV) tied with Realicó (Zone I) 0 to 0.
Intendente Alvear (Zone II) tied with 25 de Mayo (Zone X) 0 to 0; Victorica (Zone VI) defeated Santa Rosa (Zone VII) 2 to 0; Santa Rosa (Zone VII) tied with Intendente Alvear (Zone 2) 2 to 2. Caleufú (Zone III) also tied with 25 de Mayo (Zone X) 1 to 1; Caleufú (Zone III) defeated Santa Rosa (Zone VII) 2 to 1 and Victorica (Zone VI) defeated Intendente Alvear (Zone X) 3 to 0.
Athletics #
The athletics competition took place on the synthetic surface track in the afternoon. In the final of the women’s 100 meters, Mercedes Florez Diab (Zone VII) won, beating Pilar Hidalgo (Zone II) and Elena Lucero (Zone VII).
In the javelin throw, Micaela Meluso (Zone IV) won, followed by Sofía Tellechea (Zone VII) and Bárbara Ballari (Zone II).
In the men’s javelin throw, Bruno Sánchez (Zone I) came in first, followed by Rosendo Risueño (Zone VIII) and Jeremías Galván (Zone X).
In the 100-meter dash, Bruno Sánchez (Zone I) came in first, surpassing Ignacio Benítez (Zone I) and Pablo Calles (Zone IV).
What’s next? #
The Pampean Sports Games will continue today. In the morning, activities will start at 8 a.m. and end at 12 p.m., and in the afternoon, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Toorrow, competitions will only take place in the morning, with awards ceremonies taking place at the same sports venues. The action will start at 8 a.m. and end up at 12 p.m.
