The two-day meeting held at MEDASUR served to strengthen the sense of community. About fifty works were presented from different La Pampa localities.

On September 9 and 10, the Provincial Days of Cultural Heritage took place. Strengthening the sense of the collective, organized by the Secretariat of Culture at the MEDASUR Cultural Center in Santa Rosa, La Pampa.

The sessions provided an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and projects related to heritage, education, tourism, identity, and public policies, as well as to discuss public policies for heritage management and education in the Province.

From the Provincial Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Claudia Salomón Tarquini stated to the Provincial News Agency as “very positive the meeting, with a turnout that greatly exceeded expectations; its participants celebrated the creation of this space, the opportunity to share knowledge and common challenges.” Salomón Tarquini emphasized the importance of “multiple actors being able to come into contact and strengthen the initiatives they are developing.”

The Secretary of Culture, Pablo Lucero, highlighted the connection of provincial policies with others at the regional level, such as the organization - in collaboration with the Patagonian Cultural Entity, UNESCO, and CFI - of the second edition of the Seminar on the trafficking of cultural goods, of which La Pampa was the host in 2025, and participation in the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage held in Paraguay in December 2024.

Meanwhile, the Undersecretary of Cultural Management, Lis Urdaniz, emphasized the importance of cultural heritage for strengthening collective senses of belonging, and its significance not only as a legacy of the past but also as a projection of the identity into the future. She highlighted the importance of public policies and the coordinated work across different areas of government and its effective expression throughout the La Pampa’s entire territory.

More than a hundred people, coming from various La Pampa’s localities, presented almost fifty works on these topics, by teachers and secondary school students, representatives of indigenous peoples, members of different associations and museums, representatives from municipal and provincial cultural areas and other provincial organizations, as well as researchers from various universities and CONICET. There was also a workshop on architectural heritage - led by architect Liliana Steibel from the Provincial Directorate of Cultural Heritage, and specialists in architecture who commented on different cases."

There were also various photographic exhibitions, and stands with information, different cultural products, and interactive activities with 3D technology.
