Under the slogan “Patagonia’s Summit, destinations and a sea of opportunities,” the event became the perfect setting for la Pampa province to showcase its true potential to an audience that, for the most part, is only passing through. To achieve this goal, the La Pampa delegation brought brochures on the province’s 10 tourist regions to the Expo, a resource that was the result of arduous management work involving the participation of all municipalities. This initiative sought to federalize La Pampa’s tourist map, ensuring that every corner of the province is visible and accessible to visitors.
Beyond the formality of the business meetings and the presence of authorities, the La Pampa space became a magnet for visitors. The atmosphere was celebratory, with tastings of products that are a hallmark of the province: exquisite cheeses and cured meats, award-winning La Pampa producers wines, and a refreshing gin that captivated the most curious palates.
The stand not only attracted tourists looking for a new experience, but many of them commented that, although they had traveled through La Pampa on their trips, they had never stopped to explore its attractions. The objective was clear: to advise those who want to go off the beaten path and stay longer to discover the province’s rich offerings.
The response was extremely positive, confirming that interest in the destination of La Pampa is growing. The public who attended showed a genuine desire to experience the local landscapes, culture, and cuisine, demonstrating that there is a great opportunity to strengthen domestic tourism in the region.
La Pampa’s participation in the Comodoro Tourism Expo was not only an opportunity to promote its attractions, but also a reflection of the collaborative work between the public and private sectors, seeking to develop tourism as a tool for economic and cultural growth.
