La Pampa denounced Mendoza at Federal Justice for falsifying information about the flow of the Atuel River
#

On the instruction of Governor Sergio Ziliotto, the State Prosecutor’s Office of La Pampa filed a criminal complaint against the General Department of Irrigation of the province of Mendoza for the deliberate alteration of hydrological data referring to the evolution of the flow of the Atuel River. The objective of such manipulation would be to justify the failure to comply with the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice that requires guaranteeing a permanent environmental flow in the Pampas territory.

The presentation took place today, August 8, the date on which the Day for the Struggle for the Atuel River, instituted by Provincial Law No. 2867, is commemorated throughout the Pampas territory. This coincidence reaffirms the character of State policy that the defense of the Atuel has for the Government and the people of La Pampa, stated the government Agencia Provincial de Noticias.

Yesterday, at Pico Cinema Theater, organized by the Italian Association XX de Septiembre, took place the opening ceremony of the 9th National Film Festival of General Pico. The initiative has the support of the Government of La Pampa, the Federal Investment Council, the Municipality of General Pico, the Provincial Legislature and the private sector. It is an excellent opportunity for local filmmakers, who take advantage of the space to show their productions. It will take place until August 13, announced APN

La Pampa pays the highest minimum pension in the country: $753,979 in August
#

It accumulates a 30% increase in the first half of the year, as do the public agents in activity. As a result of the permanent mobility of provincial pensions and the validity of the 82% mobile system, the increase in the salaries of active state agents for August was once again transferred to retirement benefits.

These new values represent a cumulative increase of 30% during the first half of the year, thus doubling the inflation of 15% recorded in the same period. Meanwhile, the national minimum retirement is $384,000, including bonuses.

The Social Security Institute (ISS) of La Pampa reported that in the month of August the salaries of provincial retirees and pensioners will receive an increase of 4.04%. With this update, the minimum retirement in the Province rises to $753,979, remaining the highest in the country.

The provincial agency stressed that this increase, which will be settled on August 25, represents a cumulative increase of 30% during the first half of the year, which means a real recovery of 13.1% compared to the inflation recorded in the same period, which was 15%. In this way, the La Pampa’s pension system exceeds the increase in the cost of living, maintaining the purchasing power of its beneficiaries and the assets above the poverty level, the government said.

The difference with the national system is notorious -said Agencia Provincial de Noticias-: while in La Pampa the minimum retirement amounts to $753,979, ANSES beneficiaries will receive a minimum salary of $314,305.37 from August, to which is added an extraordinary bonus of $70,000, totaling $384,305.37. Even with this reinforcement, the national pension is practically half of what is paid in the Province.

Destino Vaca Muerta: “We have a Province that supports us,” say businessmen

The program presented by Governor Sergio Ziliotto was received with enthusiasm by the companies and entrepreneurs of La Pampa, said APN. “We are very pleased to know that we have a Province that supports us,” said businessman Facundo Martino, head of the El Agro Group of Santa Rosa. “Listening to an expert like Andrés Tejeda tell the current reality of Vaca Muerta was very enriching, although we already handle part of that information because we are there, it always contributes to hear it first-hand”, Martino added.

Matías Corallo, a representative of the company Neucor, based in Realicó stated that “it’s very important to find large companies that have specific needs and that we, from the Pampas industry, can solve. Working with the Buy Pampeano (provincial program) opens up the possibility for us to be competitive and serve these companies,” he explained.

Sergio Collado, manager of the CEO Transporte, from General Pico, was a speaker in the experiences panel. The company is dedicated to the transport of minerals in the center of the country and has been operating in Vaca Muerta since 2021. “We had the possibility of share our case, which is still a recognition, because we worked very hard to get to where we are. That our experience can be useful to other companies in Pampas fills us with pride,” he said.
